Programme Commitment
To create meaningful outcomes, both mentors and mentees commit to:
- A 6-month mentoring journey
- Approximately 1–2 hours per month dedicated to mentoring conversations
- A flexible format, whether virtual, in-person or hybrid
- Participation in at least one or two live WIF events during the programme, providing opportunities to meet in person and strengthen the mentoring relationship
- Open, honest and constructive dialogue
- Active engagement, mutual respect and confidentiality throughout the programme
Participants can tailor their mentoring experience by selecting their preferred meeting style, language and interaction format.
How matching Works
Every application is carefully reviewed to create strong and meaningful mentoring partnerships.
We consider:
- Professional expertise and development goals
- Areas of interest and focus
- Preferred mentoring style
- Career stage and background preferences
- Availability and meeting preferences
- Opportunities to connect at IWIF and industry events
Using these criteria, an initial mentor–mentee match is proposed. Each pairing is then reviewed and validated by the IWIF Mentorship Board to ensure alignment, quality and the greatest potential for a successful mentoring relationship.
Our goal is to create meaningful matches that foster growth, learning and long-term professional connections.
